Vintage Santas Display
THANKSGIVING - JANUARY 7, 2027
THE ARCADE / 401 EUCLID AVE
More than 50 years ago, these vintage Santas brought holiday magic to the grand marble lobby of National City Bank at 623 Euclid Avenue—today home to the Marble Room.
Inspired by the book Santas of the World, the collection features a dozen whimsical interpretations of Santas from around the globe—a charming reflection of how Clevelanders once imagined holiday traditions beyond their own.
The Santas were later rediscovered during the historic building’s restoration and renovation. Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation, with the help of Clague Playhouse, carefully refurbished the collection, giving these Cleveland holiday treasures a new life.
Today, the Santas return to Euclid Avenue as part of a festive display in The Arcade, where a bit of Cleveland’s holiday past can be enjoyed by a new generation.
