NEW! Downtown Cleveland:

Historic Moments

60-Minute Stroll Tour

August | Fridays | noon

Explore the sites of historic moments that helped shape Cleveland’s story. Stand at the statue of Larry Doby, marking his 1947 debut as the first Black player in the American League, and visit the former Hollenden House, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke in 1967. Along the way, we’ll recall Record Rendezvous, where Elvis Presley made an impromptu appearance, and other locations tied to defining cultural and civic events. This tour is rooted in place—connecting you to where history actually happened and offering a clear, grounded look at Cleveland through its most meaningful moments.

Character you may meet along the tour: Carl Stoke, Aretha Franklin or Larry Doby
