Launched in 2009, Take a Hike® educates and entertains guests through immersive experiences and tours of Cleveland’s historic and landmark districts. Showcasing history, architecture, heritage and culture, tour guides share interesting stories and historical insights at various points of interest.

TAKE A HIKE PASSPORT
Pick up a passport at any tour—or continue filling one from last year—and collect a sticker at each tour you attend. Once you collect 8, mail it in for a chance to win fun prizes and Take a Hike swag.
Winners are drawn twice monthly, announced on social, and notified by email.
SELF-GUIDED TOURS
Available 24/7
Perfect for those that want to experience tours independently, at a time that works best for them, a selection of FREE Self-Guided tours are available 365 days a year, 24/7. Using GPS on your mobile device, you can navigate the route, pausing at designated stops and listening to the tour guide share information. Historical Clevelanders’ stories are still available via companion videos provided. Allow 45-60 minutes to enjoy a self-guided tour.
